Delivery & Returns

repoze is designed to connect families across Australia, not just within local neighbourhoods. For this reason, shipping is required on most listings, allowing buyers and sellers nationwide to trade with each other.

When browsing items, you will see delivery icons that indicate which options are available for that listing:

Shipping Icon If the shipping icon appears, the item can be sent to you.
Pickup Icon If the pickup icon appears, the seller is also offering local pickup.
Shipping IconPickup Icon If both icons appear, you can choose the option that suits you best at checkout.

Shipping helps open the marketplace nationwide, giving buyers more choice and helping sellers reach more families looking for exactly what they are selling.

Shipping

Sellers set a flat shipping price when creating a listing.

When an item sells, sellers should:

  • Ship the item within 72 hours where possible
  • Send the item using a tracked shipping service
  • Mark the item as shipped and add tracking information

Using tracked delivery protects both buyers and sellers and ensures everyone can follow the parcel's progress.

Australia Post's standard parcel guidelines can be used as a reference when determining whether an item can be shipped normally.

Bulky items

Items that fall outside standard postal guidelines are considered bulky items.

For these listings, mandatory shipping is removed, meaning the item may be listed as pickup only.

Sellers can still offer shipping for bulky items if they are willing to arrange a suitable courier. When doing so, sellers should ensure the courier price they enter will cover delivery anywhere in Australia.

Being prepared to ship larger items, such as scooters or balance bikes, opens your listing to a much larger pool of buyers.

In-person pickup

Some sellers offer local pickup as an additional option.

If pickup is available, you can arrange the handover with the seller through in-app messaging and meet at the collection point they choose. Sellers should arrange pickup promptly once the item sells.

Local pickup is particularly useful when a listing is tagged to a School or Club Hub, as buyers and sellers in the same Hub are often part of the same community and already frequent the same place. This makes it easier to coordinate a simple handover at training, rehearsal or another familiar meeting point.

Returns

repoze has a no refunds policy. Take a moment to read the listing description and look closely at the images before you buy. Preloved means it has been loved before and may show gentle signs of that life. If you need more detail, you can ask the seller questions before purchasing. If the item is not quite right when it arrives, you can always relist it and keep good gear moving.
