repoze is built to make buying and selling feel simple and safe for families. Every part of the platform is designed to remove the awkwardness and risk people associate with the old “is this still available?” style of buy and sell.
In our research, parents consistently told us they were ready for a better experience. Many were tired of selling through social media groups, being ghosted by buyers, chasing payments that never arrived or organising awkward cash exchanges. Trust and safety were clear priorities.
repoze was designed to change that.
Your personal details stay protected throughout the process. Addresses and contact information are only shared once a transaction is confirmed, and even then you choose the collection point that works for you. It might be your home, your workplace or somewhere convenient like the school at pick up time. All communication takes place through in app messaging so families can coordinate a handover or delivery without exposure.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect, keeping transactions cash free and protected. If any issues arise, the repoze team is available to help review and resolve them so both sides feel supported throughout the process.
Shipping is mandatory on repoze so buyers across the country can access great gear, with the exception of oversized items that cannot be sent through standard delivery services. Sellers can also offer local pickup by setting a collection address where they feel comfortable meeting their buyer.
To help build trust within the community, repoze uses the Buy n Sal scale for reviews. Sellers are encouraged to represent items clearly, note any flaws and use the condition scale honestly so buyers receive exactly what they expect and the community benefits from reliable ratings.
